Hi Terry,
I'm back at home now. We had a great time in the Okanagan Valley. Actually, you asked if it is near the ocean. It's not. The water in the picture I showed you is a big lake.
Your school sounds quite big. I know it's a high school, so I understand there are lots of students. My kids' school is just an elementary school from kindergarten to grade 4, but it's pretty small: about 350 students. Sometimes between Korea and Canada, the numbers of people are very different. For instance, I heard on the news that about 20,000 people attended a protest about US beef imports. That number of people in Canada at a protest would be considered very, very enormous!
Since you're going to write about sports next time, I'd like to also ask you about the Olympics. Are you planning to watch the opening ceremonies? Do you have special sports that you really enjoy watching? I like to watch diving.
I think the Olympics are starting today so let's talk more about them in future messages.
